I am jealous, i do not have environment where i have water lilies i can take photos of, these pink ones are just stunning. i would use a flash to counter the high noon (assuming this photo was taken around noonish?)

I had no idea you can use flash during the day. I took this photo a few years ago but it probably was around noon. Do you recommend a hand held flash or is the one attached to the camera okay?

Yes you can, it is like negative negative equals to positive in the end. I generally hesitate to take any photos at high noon due to this very reason, i am not sure what sort of camera do you use....?

I used to borrow my mom's camera (canon powershot) but I now use a canon rebel t1i. I also try to avoid taking photos during this time of the day. I try to do it early or in the evening. Thank you for your help!
